Hey everyone! I am home from an amazing trip to Whistler, and I am majorly OBSESSED with Vancouver. The people were so friendly and the scenery was beautiful.
As soon as our flight landed we meet up with my friend at Hapa Izakaya for dinner near the harbor.Afterwards, we took a three hour shuttle from the Vancouver Airport to Whistler and when we arrived at our hotel we were walking zombies. We stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa in Whistler Village, which I highly recommend for anyone that’s heading to Whistler. The resort is within walking distance to some of the lifts, offers ski and snowboard rentals on site and has a great outdoor heated pool.
The next morning we hit the slopes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm weather. Apparently the weather was very warm for the season, but I did not complain once since there was a snowstorm in Toronto the day before we fled the city.
I bought a few new sweaters (both casual and performance sweaters) before my trip; however, I was unable to wear them all since the weather was so hot. I fell in love with this leaf print zip up by The North Face. This hoodie kept me nice and warm, and it was one of my go to sweaters for snowboarding and exploring the village.
