Happy Thursday Everyone! If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know that I am in Los Angeles. Even though this is such a short trip, I’ve managed to incorporate work and play with a few days of relaxation on the beach. Southern California is a city known for having beautiful weather throughout the year, and so far I’ve been experiencing clear sky’s and sunshine. Thank you, weather gods!
Here’s a look at what I wore while I was strolling around Manhattan Beach yesterday. Manhattan Beach is a darling little beach town in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. The city is very relaxed, and the natives move at a much slower pace in comparison to West Hollywood where I lived and worked a few years ago. However, don’t be fooled Manhattan Beach has plenty to offer, there are several restaurants and shops all within walking distance and an incredible bike path (also known as the strand) which you can ride all the way to Venice Beach. I highly recommend visiting Manhattan Beach if you have a family, love yoga, surfing or just want a nice beach vacation that is less saturated with tourists.
Being a California native, it’s no wonder I love Aztec prints and Spanish-inspired pieces like these that I wore last summer (seen here and here), but this could also be why I can’t get enough of this Hale Bob shirt for Spring. The embroidery and bell bottom sleeves add instant interest to this shirt, and you can’t go wrong pairing it with ripped denim.
