Why Nobu Los Cabos Resort Should Be Your Next Travel Destination

nobu los cabos hotel entranceJaw dropping rock formations, beautiful stretches of shoreline and delicious farm to table meals are just a few reasons to add Cabo San Lucas to your travel destination bucket list. We jetted down to the Nobu Hotel on the beach of Diamante, and fell completely head over heels in love with this gorgeous property.

Yes, this property is one of the most architecturally stunning places we’ve visited post lockdown, and yes the service we received was top notch. With several safety precautions in place, like a temperature check upon arrival, sanitization stations placed throughout the property, and mandatory mask requirements for all staff members, we felt very safe during our stay.

Location:

Pro:

This luxurious beach destination is located on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico in a compound with other resorts and golf courses (the world-famous diamante golf course designed by Tiger Woods is less than a 10-minute drive away). This 5-star hotel requires two security checks to enter the grounds, and prohibits Uber’s from pick-ups, but will allow guests to be dropped off.

Con: Beach access is available from the property, but you can’t swim in the water. However, many resorts in the area have the same policy due to the dangerous undercurrents.

Rooms:

Nobu Los Cabos offers several different accommodations like rooms with a swim-up option that grants guests accessibility to one of the main pools from these suites. Alternatively, if you want complete privacy and would prefer to have access to your own pool check out the private pool suite options. We booked the deluxe double ocean view which we were extremely satisfied with our choice. Not only was the room very spacious but the Japanese-inspired contemporary design and ocean view from the balcony were swoon-worthy.

Restaurants:

With a Nobu and Malibu Farms on-site we felt right at home. If you’re unfamiliar with Chef Nobu Matsushisa’s infamous sushi restaurant, Nobu, we would recommend booking a reservation at the restaurant even if you aren’t staying on the property. With the same menu selection as the other restaurant locations you’re able order signature dishes like rock shrimp tempura, yellowtail sashimi and miso black cod- our mouths are salivating after mentioning a few of the items on the menu.

Other restaurants to note off the property:

  • Flora Farms
  • Acre
  • Comal
  • The Office

Amenities & Experiences:

  • Nightly bon fire
  • Yatch excursion- ask to go to The Arch of Cabo San Lucas
  • Spa day
  • Fitness Center

Overall, our experience at the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos was very memorable. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we made. With direct access to the concierge via Whatsapp every moment felt personalized and special. We are looking forward to booking our next stay here in the future.
