Top Places To Travel To In 2021

By Posted on 2 Comments Location: 5 min read

If there’s one thing we’re looking forward to most in 2021, it’s the opportunity to pack our bags and travel somewhere far far away. While the pandemic has put restrictions on our ability to travel, it certainly hasn’t put a stop on our desire to. And we know that there’s a ton of you out there who are feeling the exact same way. Which is exactly why we’re sharing a list of the top 7 travel destinations we can’t wait to wander off to, as soon as it’s safe to do so. We hope this list will inspire some of your future adventures when the time comes to finally travel again.

1. Hawaii

If you’re looking for the perfect piece of paradise to jet off to this year, say aloha to Hawaii! Whether you’re snorkeling with the sea turtles in Maui, hiking amongst the lush greenery in Kauai, or soaking up the sunshine on the beautiful Lanikai beach in Oahu – Hawaii is exactly what all of your tropical travel dreams are made of. So grab your passport and a mai tai, because we’re making a toast to visiting Hawaii and taking in some of the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer us in 2021.

2.  Florida Keys

One of the best ways to slowly start traveling again is to begin by discovering the treasures that are hidden in nearby cities. For example, the Florida Keys have become one of the most frequently traveled to destinations because they give you the experience of a Caribbean vacation, without even requiring you to leave the United States. If you could use a bit of sun and saltwater therapy, these islands just off the coast of Florida might be the key to getting it (pun intended!) The close proximity of each of these islands makes the Florida Keys the perfect vacation spot, especially if you’re in the mood for a bit of beach hopping, boating and indulging in some well-deserved and much needed R&R.

3. New Zealand

In 2020, New Zealand stood out as one of the countries that has best dealt with Covid. But, it has always caught our eye because of the breathtaking beauty and natural scenery it has to offer. From its fjords and lakes, to its mountains and glaciers, it has certainly found its way onto so many bucket lists for a reason – it’s a must see!

New Zealand is also known as the adventure capital of the world, so if you’re an adrenaline junkie then this one’s for you. Maybe you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking sights while skydiving, or see it from an entirely new perspective when you try bungee jumping. Whatever you choose to do and see, a trip to New Zealand will definitely offer you the adventure of a lifetime.

4. Paris

From its incredible fashion to its stunning architecture, Paris has always had a certain charm that we can’t seem to get enough of. Ever since our last visit, we’ve been dreaming about the next time we get to stroll along the Seine with a warm croissant in hand and with the glittering lights of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Whether you’re admiring the art in the Louvre, shopping ’til you drop on the Champs-Elysees, or simply getting lost on the Parisian cobblestone streets – the City Of Lights is a travel destination that you’ll want to escape to over and over again. As far as we’re concerned, when a trip to Paris is in question the right answer is always oui!

5. Tunisia

Known for its vast Saharan desert landscapes and culturally rich ancient cities, the Middle Eastern nation of Tunisia is situated on the Mediterranean coast of Northeast Africa. If you’re on the hunt for a travel destination that offers the perfect blend of history, culture and an opportunity for adventure, then Tunisia is definitely for you. It’s got everything from archeological sites to seaside villages and a buzzing scene in the capital city of Tunis, which is home to one of the world’s oldest markets. It’s also been coined as the “next Morocco” by some travel lovers. So if you want the experience of visiting Hammam spas and dining under the stars as they do in Morocco, check out Tunisia for a more clandestine and affordable option.

6. Cape Town

If you’re searching for a way to experience all of the very best that Africa has to offer, then look no further than Cape Town. It’s a best of all worlds destination in that it allows you to enjoy everything from the bustling city life and vibrant African culture, to an exotic wildlife Safari all in one single place. Since it is home to a mix of unique cultures, it also offers an eclectic food, music & festival scene. One trip to Cape Town is all it will take for you to fall in love with the breathtaking natural landscapes, laid back city-to-sea lifestyle, and lively culture it has to offer.

7. Mauritius

If a trip to Africa is on your bucket list but tropical vacays are more your style, look no further than Mauritius. This lovely little island destination, located just off the southwest coast of Africa, is home to some of the most picturesque beaches in the world. They feature sparkling turquoise waters that meet powdery white sand, as well as tall palms that sway in the island breeze – talk about paradise! Mauritius also has a little something to offer for every type of traveler – whether you’re an avid adventurer, a water-sports enthusiast, or someone who simply loves basking in the sun’s rays.

If you’re looking to plan a trip, Expedia always offers great deals! Check them out or book your next vacation here.

Wherever you head off to in 2021, let us be the first to say bon voyage, babe!
