I am so enamoured with a beautifully decorated space. Above are some of the interior design pieces I am currently lusting over, and below are some of the interior design trends that are included in the collage. Click on each photo for more details. Happy Decorating!
- Boucle- this fabric was popularized in the late 1940s and we are seeing a resurgence of it on so many furniture pieces like chairs and sectionals. So what is Boucle anyway? According to AD style director, Benjamin Reynaert, it is a textile, most often wool, made from a series of looped fiber curling fabrics. Many people are implementing boucle pieces in their homes to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere- these pieces are usually unique and Instagrammable too!

2. Rattan and Cane- the revival of rattan and cane interior pieces takes me back to my childhood, and I am here for this refreshed trend. Using natural materials like cane and rattan in an interior space can help elicit a bohemian style, and instantly add texture and warmth to any room. I love the bohemian feel of rattan and cane so much so that I implemented these popularized materials to my living room in my Los Angeles.

3. Pampas Grass- We’re swapping out traditional floral arrangements for minimalist arrangements like pampas grass in today’s interior spaces. You may have seen these stems on several Instagram feeds, and thought to yourself what is that grass-like plant? Not to be confused with wheat grass, pampas grass is a flowering plant that is native to South America and is predominately harvested to be used for decorative purposes after it is dried. Dried pampas grass comes in a variety of colours, and sizes like the ones we’ve rounded up below.
