Wow, this weekend flew by so fast. Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Last week was a busy work week, and I did not have time to post. However, I worked on some amazing projects so no complaints here; although, I cannot disclose what they are at the moment- ugh!
This weekend was the first time it felt like summer in Toronto. People are no longer hibernating, and I can officially wear open-toed shoes and shorts without feeling cold. Yesterday was Mother’s Day and every year I try to do something to make my mom feel special. This year I opted to take her to Colette, a French bistro inside of the Thompson Hotel, for a classic Mother’s Day brunch complete with eggs benedict, mimosa’s and macaroon’s. Colette is such a stunning restaurant not to mention the food is tasty too. I recommend sitting outside on the patio and enjoying a cappuccino while people watching.
Also, just a few other things I want to share:
1) The shoes that I am wearing are by Vince Camuto and are one of my absolute favs for summer. I decided to buy them in gray instead of black to diversify my shoe collection.
2) It’s official- I purchased a ticket for Osheaga and couldn’t be more excited!! I love Montreal and music festivals and can’t wait to buy some new pieces for the event. If you have any hotel recommendations or festival tips please feel free to share them with me. I would appreciate it mucho.
I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend!
