I attended the Nordstrom charity gala at the Eaton Centre Wednesday evening, and I cannot express how excited I was to finally have the privilege of going to this department store in Toronto. As the cocktails flowed, and the delicious hors d’oeuvres floated around guests were encouraged to explore the new store, mingle, and shop. Even though I was tempted to buy a pair of Gucci loafers that evening, I couldn’t fathom the idea of carrying a shopping bag around during this glamorous event. If Gucci is not one of your favorite brands then maybe you’d like some of the other designers Nordstrom has to offer like Stella McCartney or Phillip Lim.
Besides offering shoppers a ton of designers to shop under one roof, Nordstrom also offers a compelling lineup of on-trend fashion finds at the best value which is why I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. Additional services available at this department store include personal stylists, beauty stylists, and on-site alterations. This refreshing approach to customer service is one of the reasons why Nordstrom maintains a competitive edge over other leading department stores in today’s market.
So if you’re looking for a new shopping experience unlike any other in Toronto, grab your friends and pop into the Nordies at Eaton Centre. Oh and don’t forget to pick up a mocha banana ice storm at the coffee bar on the first floor on your way out.
For all of my Canadian followers, the Nordstrom Eaton Centre grand opening is today so make sure you go and tell me what you like best about this new location!
