FESTIVAL SEASON is here, and I am so so excited because you know what that means summer is around the corner! I am an avid lover of most music festivals and have attended a few in North America and Europe. If everything goes according to plan, I will be in Montreal at Osheaga listening to music and chasing the sun once again.
But that dream is not happening anytime soon so let’s talk about current music festivals like COACHELLA instead. Coachella weekend 2 starts today, and it pains me to say this but I am not attending the festival this year (#nochella). To keep my spirits up I am looking forward to streaming some of the concerts this weekend (hello Drake, Alesso, Hozier and The Weekend) and I even rocked a festival inspired look the other day.
If there are two things that I learned about being in the desert for Coachella, it’s that the temperature is scorching hot during the day and very chilly and windy at night. My advice for first-timers is to bring a sweater for the evening, wear closed-toe shoes to keep your feet dust free and bathe in sunblock. Also, don’t forget to pack a portable charger, sunnies and whatever you do DO NOT camp.
Are you still deciding what to wear to Coachella?
Your best bet is to throw on a pair of high-waisted ripped shorts, a crop top and booties like I did in the photos above. You can never go wrong with wearing fringe or anything bohemian inspired.
I can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing at weekend 2!
What are some of your go-to pieces to wear to a music festival?
