CAFA Awards 2015

On Saturday, January 31st I attended the CAFA Awards at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Toronto. The Fashion was breathtaking, the ambiance hypnotizing and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

Here are a few of my favourite looks from the night:

So what do you wear to such an extravagant event?
I tried on several dresses but ultimately decided to wear a stunning black gown by Canadian designer, Christopher Paunil. I paired the dress with a camouflage sequined jacket by Ted Baker, Valentino Rock Stud pumps and a Chanel bag.

Not only did this dress fit like a glove, but I had the honour of Christopher greeting me to say how amazing his design looked on me- was this even real life? No… well it was, but you know what I mean. Regardless, I felt like a princess.

Huge congratulations to Mikhael Kale for winning the outstanding womenswear designer of the year award presented by Sylvia Mantella.
I had such a magical experience at the CAFA awards. The evening was full of glamorous fashionistas who were all there to celebrate Canadian fashion. I can’t wait for next years award ceremony and the 2016 nominees.
