I’ve been traveling quite a bit lately, and I must say it’s nice to be in the comfort of my own home where I can recharge before my next excursion. Spring has finally sprung and this season happens to be one of my favorites in addition to Fall because of all of the beautiful blooms and sunshine. I can’t wait for the cherry blossoms in High Park to start blooming; nothing makes me happier then walking through rows and rows of cherry blossoms and inhaling the delightful floral fragrance in the air.
Finding hidden treasures around the city like the cherry blossom trees in High Park and this gorgeous courtyard at the University of Toronto is always a treat. I was excited to finally wear these Nasty Gal heels and was pleasantly surprised by their comfort. I tend to wear flats a lot especially since I grew up in a city with harsh winters. After years of trekking through the snow, I’ve learned to appreciate any opportunity to wear sexy stilettos and as you can see one of those perfect opportunities presented itself to me the other day.
I paired these shoes with this gorgeous butterfly sleeve top and a pair of wide-leg trousers. Wide-leg pants have the ability to transform any outfit into a classy look. This top is so versatile, it can be paired with multiple pieces such as this pencil skirt or this mini skirt. I think it would look great with these shorts as well.
