Skincare Benefits of an Avocado Mask

I am constantly searching for new skincare products, but always question the ingredients since I am allergic to a chemical called benzoic acid. Benzoic acid is used as a preservative in several skincare products to keep them free of mold and other bacteria. I have combination skin (both oily and dry), and I suffer from occasional acne flare-ups that are triggered by skin care products that contain this chemical. Ironically, products made for sensitive skin contain a fair amount of benzoic acid. Imagine my frustration when I notice benzoic acid in acne fighting facial cleansers and products made for sensitive skin- GRRR!

I am more cautious and aware of the products I use on my face after discovering I had this allergy. I even make homemade facial cleansers and masks with natural ingredients occasionally. I tried this avocado mask at home the other day, and the results were astonishing. My skin felt so soft, and firm and looked radiant afterwards. Avocado has antioxidant and moisturizing properties that help keep your skin’s complexion bright and youthful looking.

This avocado mask is all natural and worth giving a try if you have sensitive skin like me.
