Beauty Must- Have's:
I am such a sucker for beauty products so stocking up on a few of my favorite beauty essentials comes naturally, and this sale is the perfect opportunity for me to add some goodies to my makeup bag. From classic fragrances to clarifying skin scrubs this sale has your beauty go-to's covered. I swear by this Clarisonic cleansing machine to help exfoliate the dead skin on my face (best beauty investment to date). I've added this Kai perfume lotion and oil set (the scent reminds me of Hawaii), and this Donna Karen deodorant set (I've been using this deodorant for years and you get three for the price of one what a steal) to my cart. If you are a fan of NARS Orgasm blush then meet her popular sisters, Deep Throat, Luster and Desire in this NARS cheek palette. Trying to achieve a J. Lo glow? Give Giorgio Armani's primer and highlighter set a try, and your dreams of skin illumination may come true. I've been wearing this fragrance all summer, and it's slowly become a crowd favorite. I love it, people love it my guess is you'll love it too! Shop more of my beauty finds below by scrolling and clicking on each product image!

Luxe Accessories:
This Rebecca Minkoff bag in whiskey is perfect for Fall and could finally put an end to your Balenciaga bag envy. If you're looking for a great blanket scarf to layer over cashmere sweaters, this plaid BP scarf will keep the impending crisp autumn breeze at bay. Reinvent your arm candy by adding this Alex and Ani coil bracelet to your jewelry collection. This sleek watch is just what you need to complete an outfit. Why not snuggle up in this luxe cashmere kimono, after all, who can say no to cashmere?! I need to add a fun pair of hoops to my summer looks and these Argento Vivo earrings are a great choice. Wool fedora for fall and winter... check! Take a look at some of my other accessory picks from the sale below.

Daring Denim:
Say hello to the Jamie's from Top Shop... you'll thank me later. The frayed hem on these bad boys was all I needed to see before immediately adding them to my cart. The holy grail of boyfriend jeans have arrived at Nordies my friends, and they were calling my name, thank you Treasure & Bond for these sweet jeans. Don't forget to add a pair of black destroyed skinny jeans to your closet because what would life be like without a pair of these? Just because denim pencil skirts are so fetch! Find additional denim options that I picked from the sale below.

Irresistible Shoes:
If you're looking for a sexy pair of over-the-knee boots that won't break the bank, this pair is absolutely gorgeous and will go with just about any outfit. For the comfy flat lovers out there you can't go wrong with a pair of Tory Burch ballet flats, and how stunning is this suede pair. Lace-up shoes are still on trend, and if you don't have a pair in your shoe collection yet then you should start with these. If you're feeling the Western vibe this season, then you'll love these suede booties! Swooning over these suede Rag and Bone booties. Shop more of my shoe picks below.

Best Jackets and Vests:
This army green vest is so stylish for fall, and is a great transitional piece for winter. Looking for a new staple leather jacket? This Mackage jacket melts on your skin like butter and is worth the investment. I ordered this suede moto jacket and added this Burberry quilted jacket to my wishlist. I think this T Tahari coat will be my new winter coat. Owning a parka in the great white north is a requirement, and this North Face version is so chic. I bought this faux fur jacket in pink last season and got so many compliments on it that i'm considering ordering it in ivory as well. More jacket and vest picks below.

Vamos a Barcelona

Even though my European vacation has come to an end, I feel like I was just in Barcelona soaking up the sun a few days ago. I adore this city, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to return to the capital of Catalonia to explore more of its vibrant culture while enjoying endless tapas and sangria.

When I travel to a foreign country, I try to submerge myself in the local traditions, cuisines and fashion of course, and my stay in Barca followed suit. I only had three days to explore this city, so I crammed in several excursions over 72 hours. If you're on a quick jaunt to Barcelona, be sure to add these three things to your list of places to visit.

1. Park Guell: I live for art, and architecture so naturally I had to visit a few of Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi's structures around the city. One of the most beautiful aesthetics I saw on my trip is Park Guell. I highly recommend adding this site to your list of things to do in Barcelona; especially if this is your first time in this city.

Helpful tip: Consider wearing comfortable shoes to Parc Guell because all of the trails, mosaic structures, and bridges will leave you yearning for more. Trust me climbing to the top of the terrace where you can experience a stunning view of the city beyond the gorgeous mosaic tiled bench is irresistable.

2. Sagrada Familia: Another Barcelona must see is the Sagrada Familia Cathedral located in the Gothic Quarter. Though this church is under construction, it is still worth visiting to marvel at the intricate details and view this impressive masterpiece. Jordi Fauli is the current architect overseeing the construction who estimates that the final stage of the spires and main facade will be completed by 2026.

Helpful tip: Consider purchasing a ticket and booking a tour time in advance. An individual ticket is about 15 euros which excludes a tower visit.

3. La Boqueria: If food is more of your thing, then I highly recommend checking out La Boqueria. This market is hands down one of the best food markets I have ever visited. The seemingly endless varieties of fruits, juices, vegetables, meats, spices, and cheese will leave your head spinning in delight. I could easily drink a cup of fresh squeezed juice from this market every day for the rest of my life.

Helpful tip: La Boqueria is a huge tourist attraction so be prepared to battle the crowds. Try going early in the morning or right before the market closes at 8:30 pm to avoid the large groups of people. Also, make sure you check out the entire market before you make a purchase because some vendors offer the same goods for cheaper prices.

After visiting some of the major attractions in Barcelona head to a local beach to relax and enjoy the Meditteranean sea. Barcelona is known for its beautiful beaches and was voted number one for the top city beaches around the world by National Geographic. Since I planned to visit several islands within Europe on my vacation, going to the beach in Barcelona was not a huge priority for me, but it was something I had to experience on this trip. Barceloneta beach is one of the most famous beaches in Barcelona. This beach is definitely worth visiting and is roughly 3 km away from La Rambla, a central area in Barcelona where I stayed.

Stay tuned for more of my European vacation in Italy and Greece...

Below are some of the details from the looks I wore while I explored beautiful Barcelona!

Look Fresh in Summer Whites

Shirt: Club Monaco | Shorts: Zara, (similar style here & here) | Shoes: Aquazurra, (similar style here) | Bag: Gucci, (similar style here) | Sunglasses: H&M

Hello from Greece! I hope everyone had an amazing long weekend and enjoyed celebrating the holiday with loved ones.

can't believe I've been travelling around Europe for almost two weeks now and my vacation here is almost over. I've gone to Spain, Italy, and I am currently on the last leg of my trip in Greece.  Figuring out which city I like most is tough because they all have something special about them, but for now, I'm leaning towards Barcelona since there is a beach, city and night life.

I took these photos in Toronto before I left for Europe and I must admit seeing them makes me miss my little dood aka Sir Winston. Do you guys ever get homesick and miss your fur babies when you travel? I certainly do, and wish that I could take Winston with me everywhere.

Stay tuned for a full recap of my European vacation. Thanks for stopping by-  I hope you all have a great weekend.

Embroidered Blouse and Shorts Combo for Under $40.00

Shorts: H&M | Shirt: H&M | Shoes: Jessica Simpson | Bag: H&M, (similar style here) |
Sunglasses: Ray ban | Bracelets: Honey, (similar style here) & Hermes

Holiday season is finally here and guess what I am officially vacationing in Spain! I know pinch me is this even real life?! I can't wait to enjoy tapas and sip sangria while I explore the streets of Barcelona. I've been trying to plan a euro trip like this with my friends for years so you can imagine how excited I am to be here. I can't wait to share more of my European adventure with you when I return, but in the meantime, you can get day-to-day highlights via my Instagram.

Barcelona is only one of the destinations on the list of countries I'm visiting while I'm in Europe, and to some degree, I feel like Spain was the inspiration behind this gorgeous embroidered outfit that was a complete steal for under $40 at H&M. In hindsight, I would recommend going up a size considering both pieces fit a little snug but well worth it since you can wear this outfit to the beach, shopping or even on a hot summer date. These shorts were recently restocked online so make sure you get a pair before they are completely sold out again.
